ValiRx Animal Health is delighted to confirm the appointment of two highly respected industry leaders to its Advisory Board, underpinning the depth of expertise supporting the strategic direction and scientific innovation of the organisation.
Joining the board is Dr Heather Wilson-Robles, a renowned veterinary oncologist and Director of Research at Ethos Discovery. With an extensive career spanning academia, clinical oncology and translational research, Dr Wilson-Robles has secured more than $8 million in research funding, authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and served as President of the Veterinary Cancer Society. Her pioneering work in comparative oncology and cancer therapeutics brings invaluable scientific insight to the organisation.
Also appointed is Dr Simon Wheeler, an independent animal health and veterinary consultant with more than two decades of international experience across the animal health sector. Having held senior leadership roles in industry, research and academia, Dr Wheeler is recognised for his expertise in strategy, innovation and veterinary medicine. He has published more than 125 articles and chapters, authored three books, and received multiple awards for teaching and contributions to veterinary surgery.
